Coming from a habit of intermittent fasting I was used to doing workouts with no food before or after my workouts. Changing my habits to eat both before and immediately after my workouts helped me feel much stronger and faster in the gym and drastically reduced soreness and fatigue later on. This made it easier to perform and to workout more often because I wasn’t tired or sore like I was before.
Sometimes I disagreed with her, but I just shut up and trusted the process. Six months later I’m leaner, stronger, and more fit than I ever got myself in 10 years of trying alone. “For the past 10 years I tried getting back in shape, mainly through calorie deficit and crazy at-home HIIT programs, but with very limited success. Kristen helped me change my whole mindset. Instead of lowering calories to lose weight, she taught me to eat at maintenance and prioritize proteins. Rather than do tons of cardio, she programmed weight lifting.
